OKZZ Ocean King Fishing Game: How It Plays
Quick Summary
- Ocean King is the arcade fish-shooting style that started the whole genre.
- Each shot costs credit; hitting a fish can pay its listed value.
- Bigger creatures pay more but usually take many hits to catch.
- Check the OKZZ fishing lobby for Ocean King style titles available today.
Ocean King began as an arcade cabinet where several players stood around a screen, firing at fish swimming across it. The name now covers a whole family of games built the same way, and online versions bring that arcade feel to your phone. This guide explains how shots, fish values and special weapons work, and how to keep your spending in view. We could not confirm which Ocean King style titles OKZZ lists, so open its fishing lobby to see what is there.
How does an Ocean King style game work?
You control a cannon at the edge of the screen. Each shot costs an amount based on the cannon level you choose. When a shot hits a fish, there is a chance it is caught, and a catch pays that fish's value times your shot cost.
Little fish drop quickly and return small amounts. Large creatures can pay much more, but they tend to absorb many shots before they go down, if they go down at all.
What are boss fish and special weapons?
Most versions add features to break up the steady shooting.
- Boss creatures: large sea monsters or dragons that pass through occasionally with high values.
- Bomb fish: catching one can clear several fish on screen at once.
- Lightning or chain effects: a hit links to nearby fish of the same type.
- Drill or laser weapons: special shots that pierce through many targets for a short time.
- Freeze effects: fish stop moving for a few seconds, making them easier to hit.
How do cannon levels affect spending?
Raising the cannon level increases the cost of each shot and the payout of each catch in the same proportion. It does not usually change the chance of catching a fish. So a higher level mostly makes results bigger in both directions.
Fast firing and auto-fire options can use a balance quickly without you noticing.
Tip: set the cannon to a level where you can afford many shots, and switch off auto-fire until you understand how quickly it spends.
Where can I compare it with other fishing games?
Many fishing games share the Ocean King layout but change the theme, the bosses or the jackpot system. Our jackpot fishing guide explains titles with prize pools, and Royal Fishing covers another familiar design.

Frequently asked
Is Ocean King a skill game?
Aiming and timing give a sense of control, but whether a hit catches a fish is decided by the game's random system. Skill affects where you shoot, not the odds of a catch.
Why do big fish take so many shots?
They have a low chance of being caught on each hit, balanced by their high value. Some players spend a lot chasing one boss and catch nothing, so decide your limit before you start.
Does OKZZ have Ocean King?
We could not confirm the fishing titles on OKZZ, and no studio list was published that we could verify. Open the fishing section of the OKZZ site or app to see which games are listed.
Can I play fishing games on my phone?
Fishing games are usually designed for touch screens. OKZZ offered an app download on its site when we checked in November 2026, and the mobile browser is another option.
Is auto-fire a good idea?
It is convenient but spends credit quickly. If you use it, set a short session and check your balance often.
